I actually can't find info on this anywhere, so if it's already documented somewhere, please point me in the right direction.
I have a save from a pirated game on a hacked PS4 that I want to transfer to my legit copy on my unhacked PS4 Pro. Both systems are linked to my PSN, and transferring saves from my legit games works from the PS4 > PS4 Pro works, but for this game it lets me copy it, but upon launching the game it tells me its corrupted.
I'm guessing this is because the game is not associated to my PSN account and therefore the save is decrypted and incompatible, where it should normally be encrypted through my PSN? Is there any way to get around this to transfer the save?
