So here's the thing...the laptop doesn't really shut down when I'm at a specific place but when I move it some where else(at a certain room), after a couple of minutes of using it, it suddenly turns off on me. Do you guys know any reasons as to why this might be?

I'm thinking...something might be wrong with the wiring at that room. Or maybe the laptop's just really spoiled. >_> I would normally look around first but...I've never really heard of this problem before. D:

I'm sorry for wasting your time...and thanks in advance for answering my question!

Yeah, just like PC's, laptops tend to get pretty hot. I recommend purchasing a laptop cooling pad (they're cheap, like $20 and have fans to help cool your laptop down).

Yeah, make sure the vents at the bottom aren't covered. I was using my laptop on top of a carpet once, and it turned off all of a sudden too. So I put something under my laptop to keep it up with the vent open and it didn't shut down anymore.

And here I was thinking it's something else. Funny though...it didn't happen before...

Anyways, thanks for the advice, you guys. :3 It's always nice to see you guys reply so quickly. Now there's no need to add further comment.

Unless you think it's something other than that.

Just a quick tip:

Buy some compressed air and spray the vents, dust can really hurt your laptop's ventilation.

I second that, I only worked out that was why My laptop fan groaned. I learned it the hard way (some geeks at PC world actually)

maybe your problem is your power settings. When your lappy is unpluged windows shuts it down (standby maybe?) after a set amount of time of inactivity.

to check right click on desktop go to properties click on screen saver and then power.

if thats not it go with overheating.
