I think that they don't ban you from the eshop cause they still want you to buy stuff off them

I think the problem was using .cias such homebrew launcher, FBI, and Free shop. I'm pretty sure if we just used the .3dsx versions of all of them we'd be fine

but there is no 3dsx version of freeshop, and 3dsx has less features
I'm not trying to point fingers or make excuses I'm just saying what I think and I think it's the most logical reason as to how they found out who uses CFW and who doesn't, I'm not 100% sure but I think if you're online and launch one of the aforementioned .cias Nintendo can see them as unofficial applications where if you go to say soundhax it would show up as the voice recorder application to them.

Using homebrew cias is not the cause. If it was, everyone would be banned already.

Maybe. It's not a perfect theory, like I said I'm not 100% sure. No one knows exactly how they were able to differentiate who was using CFW and who was not, I'm just saying what I think since if you're running a freeshop, homebrew launcher, or FBI .cias there's a good chance you probably have a cfw and I can see how this theory is faulty since I have an unbanned 2ds with CFW, so who knows were all throwing ideas at this point...

i used to go out to the recycling center every couple weeks and look at the crts and other electronics people would drop off. Usually screens were broken or severely scratched from being tossed around. Did find a good one here and there, but never anything like a 1080i widescreen crt.

Is it piracy if it was released for free? Not in my opinion, but I also think it's not piracy if buying it isn't owning it, and it's not piracy if you can't buy it from the original creators anymore.
