Alright, just received mine. Works just as well as it did for Kentoss. Checked it with my Soul Silver, and it works great! I would suggest it to people that don't have the original NDS Adapter.

seems so far the NDS adaptor plus doesn't support 32MB saves.
the tool freezes as soon as i insert jam with the band, and it's most likely the same with US/EU copies of warioware DIY.

The question is, did the first one support it, and how many games actually create a 32Mb save file?

Can't you do the same thing with an EZ 3-in-1?

Seems like a better purchase to me, but you need a DSL I suppose.

Its been awhile since anyone posted to this thread, I know, but I bought one of these adapters from Renchi hoping I could pull this off.
My problem is that even though I signed the drivers and everything, Windows still can't find/recognize them. I'm not sure I'm using the right ones, I got a .zip with

EMSLink.inf
EMSLink_amd64.sys
EMSLink_i386.sys
EMSLink_ia64.sys

They are supposed to be the universal USB 32/64 bit drivers for this thing. Really frustrating, since you seemed to have no trouble!!

I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate x64

A better solution for the unsigned drivers issue (especially if you have other devices you use regularly with the same issue, like my PS2/NGC/XBox->USB controller adapter) is ReadyDriver Plus. It adds a new entry to your bootloader that basically automates the process of clicking F8 and selecting "Disable Driver Signature Enforcement". I use it on all of my Windows 7 x64 computers.

I've got a lot of use out of this device. I hope a similar USB peripheral is eventually developed for 3DS cartridges. Whether or not there are flashcarts for the 3DS one day, it's still very useful to be able to keep a backup of your save data on the computer in case you lose the original cartridge or it's stolen; in which case you can just get a new copy and continue on.

Is this an alternative to the NDS backup tool wifi? If not, is there an alternative that will back up the entire game for saving to a flashcart? Thanks.

Wait wait wait wait what?

What's NDS backup tool wifi? If you mean NDS wifi backup tool, then no. If you bothered reading the first 3 lines, instead of just looking at the pictures, you'd notice it only rips the saves. I don't know of any adapter that will rip the actual ROM, but um... why would you need one? You're in the US, which would mean you have good internet. Why would you want something WORSE as an alternative to the Wi-fi backup?

Hey uh, two quick questions...
1. Does Daigasso! Band Brothers DX (J)'s 8MB save work with this?
2. Did they ever fix the non-compatibility with Jam With the Band (E)'s 32MB save?

Not sure either of those work. I believe this was to fix save extraction for HG/SS.

The wifi backup tool is very very slow. It uploads at about .7 kB/s. Takes days to backup a game. I am looking for something a little faster.

Sorry to necro this, but a new update and firmware came out for this, slightly important.

3.0 : http://filetrip.net/f24332-NDS-Adaptor-Plus-3-0.html

Change log is as follows:

This firmware upgrade adds the support of N3DS™ games.
** After upgraded the firmware, you must use NDS™ Adaptor Plus v3.0 program instead of any older version. **
** You MUST close EVERY other EMS programs when you run the firmware upgrade program. **
[/p]

For those that got one, payoff is now you got a 3DS game save dumper.

I do not recommend using Canada Post, if you have the option, go with a private company like Purolator, because Canada Post (if you're in Canada, that is), has terrible service and rude representatives.
I disagree with you.
Canada Post is a great postal service. I've had not a single problem with them.

I'm thinking of purchasing the NDS Adapter Plus if only for the Pokemon games.
