nds-bootstrap:

Thanks to the work of ahezard, Gericom, Apache, Robz8, _catcatcat, and shutterbug2000 and other contributors, we can now load NDS games from the SD card, without any flashcard/SLOT-1 card.

Don't expect high compatibility, but do expect many, many updates.

Are any of the Pokemon games working yet? I've been replaying the series from the beginning, and using various tools to transfer my collection each time I finish a game. I remember HeartGold didn't work very well when I tried using a flashcart on my DS Lite, and I was curious if I would be able to use my 3DS when I got to the DS games. It would be much more convenient than being stuck at my PC and using an emulator.

Your flashcard will almost certainly perform better than this project ever will.

HeartGold has this annoying thing where if it's run on a flashcart, it will freeze incredibly often. Has something to do with the timing or something, so I was curious if something like this would fix it.

This actually fixes the random freezing issue in MegaMan Zero Collection, so yes, it should fix the issue in HeartGold/SoulSilver.
