If it was me I would do the downgrade again until downgrade checker has 0 files wrong. You may run into a lot of wonky problems later such as random crashes in games, buttons not working or not being able to install cia files.

Yea lol debating on trying to install CFW or DG again......Any guides on installing Reinand?
sorry real life . . you know that job thing . . .

so as i was saying after you install reinand you will no longer use sysnand for anything you only need to downgrade again if you run into problems with installing cfw (unless you are a perfectionist)
your current fw (sysnand) will be cloned to emunand where you will only update it then all its files will be 10.6 fw files anyway then you will primarily use emunand

the only files that truly needed to be downgraded (i believe) was/is the native_firm0, native_firm1, and the browser

also if you (later on . . . when you have more experience) decide to install AL9H then you would at that time (and as part of the AL9H installation process) fix any remaining problems with your sysnand

A friend of mine had this issue the other day, he had to use safesys to complete the downgrade. Sysupdater kept locking up and then when it actually started it errored out after it installed some. He then used safesys to downgrade and it did it without issue. This was on the new fire emblem rates 3ds.

We actually found out after when trying to create the nand backups it was an issue with his sd card(at least I think it was). Emunand9 couldn't back up his nand at all until it was formatted again. That makes me think the sd card could have been what was stopping sysupdater.

Used this to format it http://www.ridgecrop.demon.co.uk/index.htm?guiformat.htm

I'm going to go the ReiNand path and try that. I'm worried trying to re downgrade will brick it for good. Anyways I'll post my Expected installed here after work and maybe someone can look at them. I do belive one said that Native_firm was on that list in DG checker..

As I said before, don't even bother if NATIVE_FIRM wasn't downgraded. It clearly wasn't so you need to downgrade again.

Already fixed. Re downgraded with Safesys aND currently using ReiNand 3.2! Emunand running at 10.6 currently.

But my only issue is that Eventually im going to want a Bigger microSD card. 4gb isnt gonna do much at all seeing as i already only 1.4 left after NAND dump. So lets say i go get a new one with 16gb. How does one go about transferring it?

Would i just copy my current files onto the new one? Or would i have to redo it all over?(such as going through the entire process again pray not)

Thanks sorry for all the questions just trying to get all the info i can on the 3ds hacking scene!

You'll need to dump your emunand then restore it to the new SD card with a tool such as EmuNAND9.

Thats were I think I may be screwed or something. I cant use the Emunand9 Emunand dump to file dude to only having 1.4 left on this SD. I have tried before.

I do have the emunand tool but the only to options are Extract Emunand then it will fill the bar to 100% the the other option is inject.

I was trying to back up my emu before i updated to 10.6 and used this tool and after extracting my Emunand.bin file was in the root of my SD card.
Not sure if that was the backup or what? Any i moved it to another place on my computer for safe keeping. I am taking precatuions like crazy

There's a tool for Windows, but in my experience it refused to restore the NAND. That said you could dump it with that tool and restore it with Emunand9.

That's a backup. The actual emunand is on a hidden partition.
Did you make a sysnand backup? I'm asking because a sysnand backup, emunand backup and emunand partition wouldn't fit on a 4GB card.

Yes I did the Nand.bin one when setting up my CFW boot mng etc through a Tut i found here. It is locked safely away with all my files. 1.9 gigs and i got multiple copies.

EDIT: Found a guide basically that should do the trick. Just remembered I have a 16gb laying around somewere.
