This is real neat. I like it.
I also like the fact I can just do middle mouse click on the releases to get them to open in a new window. Can you guys set it for all the other news boxes as well?

though, I will have to get used to it, but it's no big deal ^^
Nice to have VC and WiiWare separated too.

I have 3 questions or suggestions :

1) Will there be a section for Dsi too ? As they have their own numbering order.

2) Maybe it's best to put the region flag in front of the game name, instead of next to it.
So it will be always at the same place. But I understand if it's to match the releases link's name order.

3) Could it be possible to add an anchor while clicking a Scene release link ?
I explain :

On the "All" tab click the "GBA recommends", the article will open and the screen stay on the top of the article. All is good here.
Read the article or head to the bottom, and click a console release (metal slug for example).
Metal slug tab load, and the screen stay centered on the bottom of the site.

It could be a good idea to have an anchor to the top of the Scene releases tab so the page will center on the releases information automatically.

That's just ideas, if you can

Ah thanks for the suggestions Cyan.
#3 is definitely a must do.
#2 I'd tend to agree but I'll see what the others think.
#1 I'm very doubtful about it because -correct me if i'm wrong- DSi releases probably wont be playable on the DSi for a great while (if not never)

Hm I thought I'd done it for all boxes, but apparently not! I'll fix it!

I agree with #1, we will see later then.

Thanks to you and Shaunj for the hard work

This is a great improvement! There's one thing I'm not happy about though: the GBAtemp Recommends in the Releases section. I love to read them, and with the previous portal it made sense to post them as GBA releases, but it's really annoying now. The articles are quite big, which is irritating if you have the releases on top of the portal.

Looks really nice guys. Good work. I really appreciate that you guys continue to put hard work into improving the site.

I agree with an earlier suggestion that you should make a tabbed "news" box as well. I like seeing the Gaming news and Homebrew news items occasionally, but I would prefer a faster loading portal that always opened with the GBAtemp & Scene news.

The new portal is awful, the "classic" portal in your preferences is nothing like the previous standard, you don't get the last 5 or so games instantly on the front page, just the 1 newest ? Please change it back to the superior standard.

The only thing that bugs me is the releases, you have to go to the "details" link and go to gOnline to get the info, GBATemp sometime slows down, and its a pain to have to use the list, I really only use it when searching, because the in forum search sucks.

It's still good, but I'd like to see certain details without having to use that link or change to the old way. But still, I'll eventually get used to it.

I still like it, okay? I'm not saying it's bad, just inconvenient.

We had our grandkids over yesterday and I got a small above ground swimming pool I filled for them to play in. Well today I woke to find 3 ducks swimming around in it. Don't mind really but they are annoyingly loud, quack quack. Gotta drain it today. Guess what were having for dinner, lol.
