ROM Hack Nora and the Time Studio: The Witch of the Misty Forest – English Translation

Translation has passed the 15% mark today. 15% of the main scenario files, that is, but in terms of total main scenario text it's probably closer to 20%.

I've also done a rough character count. The entire script plus some of the systems files (not all, as I've not extracted all of them yet) are compromised of ~322911 characters, which is about the content of three light novels. Sounds like a lot, but as long as the progress remains steady, it'll be done in the foreseeable future.

Not in the very near future, but if I continue at my current pace, it will be a matter of months, not years, haha.
I'm bad with schedules, though, so although I have a general schedule layed out, I won't get concrete at the moment. Too much could still change.

But I'll promise to post regular updates while I'm progressing, and I might also add a couple of new screenshots in the coming days. (Although it's not really exciting stuff, just more dialogues.)

but you should only do this if you feel you want to and have the time to !
if no updates it is very understandable we will just wait and see what will happen!
Hopefully someone with knowledge maybe can join you on the team if you accept to work with people!
so that you dont need to do everything by yourself! i mean it is a very big project after all :o

@Kuroiri: I haven't used discord yet, so no, I don't have a group, sorry.

And sorry for not updating on Monday. Progress is at ~24% now, and I hope to get more done this weekend. 5% per week is doable, though depending on how much stuff I have going on in private the value may change each week.

@Sliter: Maybe you can help indeed! What I can do myself are basic edits, i.e. replacing Japanese text on a plain background with English text. What I definitely can't do with my skills are more complex edits, especially complex edits like the title screen.

I can do everything on the graphic editing (not hacking, sorry it will take me more time x3x hope it can be easier to find and replace than pokemon with tinke XD well the problem with poke is finding everything lol)

While no progress on the main scenario has been done (I've been kinda busy with work stuff and playing Shin Megami Tensei ), I've got a bunch of graphics translation done. So yes, not much progress, but at least a bit.

No worries, asking for updates is actually helping me to stay motivated.

Regarding SMT: I found it quite addictive to the point of playing it the entire day Saturday last week. It certainly has its flaws and feels a bit raw, but I liked it enough to continue with Shin Megami Tensei II right away. (I'll be a happy man once the SMT if... translation is done!)
