Worked great with a 7€ cable but had to try 2 (one failed). Running iOS 11.3.1 (jailbroken obviously) on iPhone X. Amazing tool, really quick too.

Hi GBAtemp,

After the teaser here and in the iOS payload loader discussion thread I'm releasing my utility to the world. It supports loading any payload by importing it via the GUI, can quickly switch between payloads via 'boot profiles,' and can boot Lakka/Coreboot/Linux.

Note that a jailbroken device with iOS 10 or later is required.

Attribution and prior work: Fusée Gelée by ktemkin and ShofEL2 by the fail0verflow team served as reference for payload construction. @JustBrandonT worked on a similar app independently of this project.

Maybe, probably not. I'd be interested in technical details about the Lightning Camera adapter's internals and how iOS deals with USB host and device mode.

Will cheap, non-Apple OTG adapters work?
Maybe. I've received reports from some people who had success with cheap $5 Lightning OTG adapters, but others did not get their third-party adapter to work at all or had USB communication errors.

Why use your app at all if it requires a $30 adapter?
Because you've already got that adapter, or find it convenient, or found a cheap third-party adapter that works for you.

@jebediah I can't say much without a log from the tool, but if I had to guess I'd say you still need to make the file executable after downloading (chmod +x nxboot.)

ReiNX is supported (all Fusée payloads are.) There's a Quick Start page in the app that explains how to use it if it's not clear from the UI.

Hi! No device will be detected when you do this. Please check the FAQ on the project website. I can't tell you if this will fry your device specifically -- only that it didn't fry mine, but did not work.
