Yeah, as I said, you COULD be banned, with NSP for sure you WILL be banned.People running XCI's only have already been banned, so yea.

I've started to use WSL (Windows Subsystem for Linux) for my basic Linux needs. For things like compiling, it gets the job done without needing a VM.I'm just glad I have a proper compile environment ready to go when I need it.
I was trying to install a gameYou can't install updates/DLC with it
I tried that with ubuntu and WSL, but still no dice for me. Oh also, my Mint distro is on and old laptop that I never use, not a VM. Maybe that is why my luck was better?I've started to use WSL (Windows Subsystem for Linux) for my basic Linux needs. For things like compiling, it gets the job done without needing a VM.
Three dollarydoos down the toilet when you get banned for playing "bing bing, wahoo!" emulators! If you have friends, its like 3$ a year.
You definitely can't beat a genuine Linux installation. Was your problem installing pacman? If so, you have to first use "sudo ln -s /proc/self/mounts /etc/mtab" to create a symlink for the /etc/mtab folder since WSL doesn't create one.I tried that with ubuntu and WSL, but still no dice for me. Here's the version of ReiNX with sigpatches:Went to bed last night with sig patches not released and this CFW in the "please wait for sig patches" stage. Has something changed? Read through the last ten pages and some people are mentioning a modified ReiNX with sig patches.
tested and I can confirm installing and playing nsp's is working with tinfoil + reinxSygpatches
So in theory we could install TinFoil on here because it has sigpatches? Here's the version of ReiNX with sigpatches:

ReiNX has the signature patches. Tinfoil is a homebrew application you can use to install NSP files. So in theory we could install TinFoil on here because it has sigpatches?
We can install NSP files.Thank. And this need a big banner "No backup loader for Now" or something...
According to a post from Rei on Github, they're being tested out in their Discord. Also, they're apparently linked in the post above yours, lol.Whoa wtf? It's finally happened. Where are these sigpatches you speak of?
Edit: OK I see em. Time to get started.

I had actually followed a guide for Ubuntu on Windows 10 with wsl, specifically written to help with compiling reinx. It had that step. I did it, but didn't work. I'll just keep old slowpoke around. Source for your claims? Out of your ass, right?Yeah, as I said, you COULD be banned, with NSP for sure you WILL be banned.
Tinfoil would have to first be converted into the properly supported format but yes.So in theory we could install TinFoil on here because it has sigpatches?

I had a problem getting it to work the first time I tried it too. No idea why. In the end, I'm pretty sure I just deleted the symlink, restarted bash, and remade it. For whatever reason, it worked just fine the second time.I had actually followed a guide for Ubuntu on Windows 10 with wsl, specifically written to help with compiling reinx. It had that step. Is not like you can't do your own research on switchbrew or somewhere else and guess why NSP is way more risky.Source for your claims? Out of your ass, right?
