Only four million 3DS systems at launch

When Nintendo of Japan's Satoru Iwata recently sat down with the Wall Street Journal,
he let it be known that Nintendo would have four million 3DS systems available to
consumers worldwide through the end of the fiscal year on March 31.

Looks like they're going down the Wii road again.

Which is totally fine considering the following fiscal year begins in April. Which is the month after March. And the 3DS is releasing on March in the west.

Which is totally fine considering the following fiscal year begins in April. Which is the month after March. And the 3DS is releasing on March in the west.
And in February in Japan. As said in the other thread, 1.5 million goes to japan, so that'll leave the rest of the world with only 2.5 million units, which is not nearly enough for a new handheld.
