I'll believe it when I see it.

It's all theoretical and the closest we've seen is the clone Bitfunx SATA HDD adapter (not the SATA board, but the entire adapter). The closest yet unrelated thing we've seen is the Dragoncon USB loader - and that really isn't even worth mentioning because it's closed-source and it's been inactive for a while now.

So the idea is to make a device to sell, right? It doesn't look like open-source to me. It would be great to have something like this:
