I have a question about this part.

To remove the risk of small bricking, i need to format my 2ds... but what does formatting do exactly?

Does it force you to update if you format it?,
Does it remove menuhax?
If i format the 2ds, do i have to start the guide all over again?

Cleans the 3DS from stuff that could be the cause of failed downgrades

It does not force you to update

It does remove menuhax

You have to remove the SD card before you dpwngrade, so you only have to reinstall menu had after the format :)

It dosent, it just says that theres a small risk of small bricking if you dont format it.

Well format, reinstall menuhax then reboot into menuhax then downgrade

Or format with the Sd card in and repeat part two just in case :)

I have a question too, taking advantage of the topic already created. My 3ds is with an old version of FBI installed on SYSNAND over H & S, so the app icon only appears when I enter into sysnand with signature check disabled, I could downgrade normally with no worries that H & S would be re-installed , Or would I have to inject the beckup?
Uh, if you are doing the A9LH Guide, dont worry about the H & S app, since while doing the CTR Transfer it replaces the Apps too. If you feel unconfortable, you can always re-inject the clean backup of it :3

I don't think that would interrupt the process in any way.

We had our grandkids over yesterday and I got a small above ground swimming pool I filled for them to play in. Well today I woke to find 3 ducks swimming around in it. Don't mind really but they are annoyingly loud, quack quack. Gotta drain it today. Guess what were having for dinner, lol.

plus if you're making brownies or lava cakes for people with dairy allergies, you should use oil instead of butter anyway

I make rum cake for 4th July every year, I make it a week prior and then soak it in rum in the fridge all week. I flip the cake each day, and add little more rum, it soaks it up everyday, so good.
