PlayStation Now to Stream PS4 Games Soon
Not to let Xbox outdo them, Sony will be bringing PlayStation 4 games to their PlayStation Now service sometime this year. It's unknown what games will be available with this service, but Sony will be allowing certain PS Now subscribers to join in a private beta to test how PS4 games stream and perform. The service, at the time of writing, currently allows 483 games to be streamed to PlayStation 4s and PCs. If you remember, last month, Sony announced that PlayStation Now support would be shutting down for the Vita, PS3, and all previously compatible bluray players and TVs.
We’re excited to announce that PS Now’s catalog is set to grow even further, as we’ll be expanding to include a new platform: PlayStation 4 games. All of the games in the service, including PS4 games, will be included with a single PS Now subscription. We’ll share more information as we get closer to launch, so stay tuned.
In the next few weeks we’ll kick off a private test with PS4 games on PS Now. If you’re an active PS Now subscriber, keep an eye on your email in case you get an invitation
