You can downgrade anygame (unless pkmn is doing something different). You just gotta have the older update you want to install.

1)uninstall the update file (i use tinfoil for majority of this procedure but can use goldleaf also)

2) reset required version, so this way it only sees/reads base game installed

3) Install the update you want. The only thing that may cause issues is your save file. To my knowledge, there's no way to "downgrade" the save but thats all you gotta do to downgrade a game
Thank you and Allan for the advice. I have to ask tho.. could you be a bit more specific when it comes to the individual steps?

1. where do you uninstall it? You say you are using tinfoil which should mean RCM payload injection/boot menu but where there do you uninstall sth.?

2. how does this work?

3. where can I get the 1.1.1 file?

I would buy a Pearl version in store for this, which should be 1.0 then I hink so I guess I can skip step 1 entirely. Nothing of this
hither and thither would be remotely necessary if this one guy would be arsed to update any of his codes, like every other dev does.

1. This is just utter nonsense. That's not how codes work.
2. Most people using emulators are probably doing so because they don't have a hackable switch, so even if this was how codes worked, it still wouldn't be helpful.
3. Please don't post 'advice' when you don't know what you're talking about.

(Just as an aside, my post just above yours already answered this anyway, even if you did have a correct answer, you can see that I've already provided such an answer.)
If he's using button press codes, you said so yourself they won't work on emulators. As for yuzu, you need a hacked Switch to be able to run yuzu since you need to dump your own keys and games. You don't need to be rude about this.

I didn't want to have to pick this apart specifically, an yet here you are.

You say, "As for yuzu, you need a hacked Switch to be able to run yuzu since you need to dump your own keys and games".
Don't be so naive, piracy and key dumps exist, I'd even assume that the majority of all people posting the same questions about the emulator 'issues' on this thread are using pirated copies of games and the key dumps that came out years ago. That's just the way of things.

When the person asked, "is there any way to change or deactivate it without restarting my game?"
I made the assumption (as it's incredibly obvious that the second code, ("[Shiny Pokemon (Off)]") turns the code OFF) that they were on an emulator and so, told them that no, they would have to restart to make any changes the activated cheat codes. As such, you answering "import your save to your Switch, and then use the deactivate code.", is entirely and utterly wrong, and shows that you have no idea as to how this cheat code works.

Your point about, "If he's using button press codes", is again, irrelevant information, as the code the person is talking and asking questions about, is a modified version of the shiny code, with the activation buttons removed. Hence, why they're asking about whether or not they need to restart, as they cannot have both codes activated at the same time.

And finally you say, "You don't need to be rude about this."
I may not need to be rude, however, you not only showed in your first message that you didn't understand, not only cheat codes, but even what the person was asking about in the first place.
And so, subsequently you've felt compelled to reply to me with useless information (in reference to your comment about button codes), incorrect information (in reference to believing that you must have a hacked switch in order to emulate) and your feelings being hurt by my rude demeanour. None of which is helpful in the slightest.
Ultimately, I do no care a single iota about you or how you feel. All I care about, in this instance, was providing a succinct and CORRECT answer. You were and continue to be, factually incorrect and spreading flagrantly false information. That is why, in the end, I do in fact feel I NEED to rude to you in this instance. I have no tolerance for stupid shit like this. Please, feel free to not respond.

Hoping you are well,
Yours sincerely, Mafalda Hopkirk :switch:

I've downloaded the latest file and it doesn't include the above despite the one of above being the second cheat advertised
will this be added at some stage? or
same goes for radar chain 999, just curious why its advertised as to be included in the file but i cant find it anywhere :c
apologies if I'm missing something

I am having a huge problem now with the codes. I cant pinpoint which code or what is causing the issue. After I encounter a pokemon in the grass or in a battle, every trainer or item around me vanishes. It doesn't matter if I run away or not. Once I enter a door-way or cave entrance, they reappear again. It is almost like a reset button for appearance. But again, when I meet a pokemon in battle whether its in grass or with a trainer, everyone vanishes again. I tried turning off all codes. Nothing works.

HELP

Well, my first message here was actually adding the BD 1.1.2 Exp Share disabling code, and I literally made the account to do so. Apologies that I skimmed the dude's problem, I didn't realize he was using an altered code that removed the button presses, but I was already tired, up at 2am and had to be up in 3 hours. Not the best excuse, but it was what it was. And the bit about emulation, you are right that it isn't a technical requirement, but for all intents and purposes, it is a legal one. Feelings aren't hurt, I assure you, just you came at me aggressively and while it is the internet if you want to throw that excuse, some tact on forums is never a bad thing. Anyways, only came back after posting the code since the tab lingered and the dot notification kept catching my attention.
