I installed the cia version of Liquid Crystal on my 3ds with Luma firmware. but it can't read the time right. It reads the right hour but the wrong time of day? Like it thinks 3 pm is morning or 8pm is day.

Is it something wrong with the file or the game itself?

Your 3ds internal rtc is out of whack. Google how to fix it. I can't remember how to.

You have to patch it or something during the conversion process. I cant remember how to fix it.

I did the IPS Patch during making the VC Inject but it still doesn't work. Ive tried the game on Mgba and it reads the time correctly there. But it can't seem to read my system time as a VC Inject. Even if I try to trick it by flipping the time It will say the same time. Like It thinks 2pm is 2 am but 2am is also 2 am.

You're better off using an emulator when playing fan made hacks. There will always be an issue with converting hacks to cia file types.

You need to find an RTC patch for Liquid Crystal, then convert to .cia The emulator had nothing to do with it, and the injects don't support RTC (Don't quote me on that)

That's just an old conversion. I have a working .CIA of the game and the RTC is intact. I can't share it here though but I could upload it to THAT site, though I'm sure it's more than likely there already...

Which website is THAT? I know several and have looked everywhere for a working CIA.

Every one that I found and tried had the RTC problem. Please can you upload your working copy. Its my last hope at this.
It's there.... look for the "RTC Fixed" version ;)

Well the funny thing is, it's not even the .CIA itself, it's the actual ROM that needs to be edited to fix the RTC. Hmmmm

@Xdqwerty there is health behaviour you can add to your character, then to use a health bar is lil more complicated, google n watch a few tutorial video on it, be too hard to explain here.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, the character has the health behavior
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I know you have to create a health and health max variable. Then there is a calculation you use in code to subtract width size of the health bar. Google few vids.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, the "greenflatbar" is one of the preset health bars btw
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea you can use any bar/sprite. It will just change the width. Ok good luck and have fun. I'm off to go shoot some pool at the bar. Talk to you later.
    +1
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, why does the health behavior exist if you can just use a variable?
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
and nope the number still doesnt change
