I don't want to be one to spread fake news but on one of the discord servers. Some one said the this version hijacks your wifi settings in game & overwrites your DNS if your using 90DNS. He recommended to play in airplane mode & its something to do with a feature in the game called Y-Comm you unlock while playing. As I said I don't know if its true but thought I'd share this.

does someone have proof?

The XCI leak from 4chan was extracted and tested before some of the discords released it, including the version I tested has the hashes threadmarked in this thread

What I gathered about the "hijack" it just enables local wireless. It's p2p communication, no server involved.

EDIT: But if you're paranoid. Just use Incognito_RCM and let your worries away.

I can confirm. It did happen to me. My switch isn't connected to any wifi yet it seems like my switch is automatically searching for one when I play pokemon sword.

Based on a post in #news from Switch Lan Play's discord.

Cubuss said:
@everyone Pokemon Sword And Shield is working with latest ldn_mitm, but it seems like the game will automatically disable 90dns therefor risking you getting banned, So if you dont wanna get banned be careful and dont use ldn_mitm for now,

I can confirm that the XCI version DOES NOT revert DNS configuration and 90DNS is still used.
Please, stop spreading FUD.

Because its converted its going to say its tampered with because its not original. If you wanna be safe get the xci and convert it yourself

EDIT: Converted NSP SHA-256 should be

75559104A21A94585AEBF818149F6FD1E9E92579C452BD33E4C5DEE8C9D472A3
they shouldn't match. That's impossible

My XCI matched the hash posted earlier. I converted it to nsp and it matched the hash for the converted nsp in that same earlier post. Don't know if it should but it did, or i might have messed/mixed something up (The converted nsp didn't work anyways, so that's quite a real possibility there).
I ended up checking the nsp from that same uploader with nx game info and it said it was safe, but i backed up my nand before installing it, just in case.

I downloaded the xci right after the leak and installed it directly throught tinfoil (first time doing xci install). I just now started it. mine game freezes randomly while in the house. While it freezes I still can press menu and close the game. What might be the cause of this?

edit: converted xci now myself, installed with goldleaf. I was able to save the game once. then it crashed out of the game. now everytime I start it, it crashes after loading, well I will wait till eshop nsp release.

Does anyone know where to get Fire and Thunder Stones?

I got all 8 badges but I still haven't been able to evolve my Pikachu and Vulpix...

I recall @impeeza mentioned some trick about not having bloatware when installing windows where you set up your country to "world" or smh like that

Yes, you can debloat the operating system, but in some cases for me it just reinstalls them.

@Xdqwerty yes, when you are installing Windows on the first steps you are asked for your current location, you MUST to select «international» so no bloatware is installed, because the bloatware is location based. if this night I have some time I will setup a VM and take screenshots.

@Psionic Roshambo, Yeah, BonziBuddy was both spyware and ad-ware. It collected children's personal information without consent as well as display fake Windows popups.
