ROM Hack WIP Pokémon Sword & Shield (v1.2.1) CFW/EMU Cheat Codes

The short version is this is impossible.

The easiest way I can explain it is to compare to baking a cake. You have a receipe and a bowl where the ingredients go. The code works by editing what is the bowl. So, it doesn't matter that the game's shiny lock (aka the reciepe) says no shiny (let's say sprinkles)... the code still forces the sprinkles (aka it being shiny) into the mix bowl. This is the same for all the other modifiers.

A code that alters a Pokemon in Gen 8 this way will ALWAYS ignore the in-game restrictions.

Thanks, I basically get the impression that it modifies the PID directly, not the game's shiny rate.
I'm just used to Gen 6 and 7 where you can modify the RomFS directly, and toggle the shiny rate to "always", while keeping the shiny locked stuff shiny locked.
I'm trying to find out whether camping mons are shiny locked, so looking for unorthodox methods that doesn't require me to hunt for 1000s of mons.

I think I figured it out after seeing your post, I did some trial and error with regards to punching in some numbers. I do recall a cheat similar to this for ORAS and Sun/Moon back on 3DS. Here's the break down:

1. Get the National Dex number of the Pokemon you want (I will use Bublapedia). So for this example I will use Mew

2. Once you have the National Dex number of the Pokemon you want, in this case the National Dex number for Mew is 151, we will then go to a Decimal to Hexadecimal converter site

3. In the Decimal value number, we will put in Mew's National Dex number, 151. When we hit convert we will get the Hexadecimal number, 97

4. Now for this part, I am just going base off of the pattern with the code. The only part that stays the same is the third chunk of numbers indicated in bold below. The rest stays the same:

08000000 007709E8 0000xxxx 00000000

5. With the Hexadecimal of 97, we will put in that number where xxxx is. This part is a bit tricky and I may lose you, lol. You will need to put the number in.. reverse? I'm not sure if that's the correct way of saying it. So for Mew,

00009700 <-- Incorrect ,
00000097 <-- Correct

Therefore the code to encounter Mew in the Wild will be 08000000 007709E8 00000097 00000000

Let's try another Pokémon, Jirachi [National Code is 251, Hex code is 181]

Therefore the code to encounter Jirachi in the Wild will be 08000000 007709E8 00000181 00000000

That is awesome bro! That makes sense and it matches with what we used to have as cheat codes for the previous version, honestly since update I havent tried them, but I found on them on Tinfoil page. Thing is, those are for V3 and not V4 which is the actual version of the game at the moment, and I'm not sure if the master code to make work would work too. I will try the codes right now and let you know in a bit.

I mean, imagine trading a mewto with someone and the stat says something like "captured on route 7".
Obviously there is something wrong there, if you need it for the dex its no big deal
