I guess... So Team Plasma has used their genesects to capture mewtwo to create a clone of it, I guess.
I will srsly laugh if this is seriously the plot.

Reread the wording of the first sentence a few times. It makes no sense. I wonder the same thing, but I thing I Team Rocket altered Mew's DNA to make the clones until something worked (thus, why Ditto exists).

they played around with its dna to make it better and stronger. thats why it looks so different from mew.
even though, according to red and blue wording in the burned lab in cinnabar island, they actually just kept breeding mew since it gave birth to mewtwo, didnt it?

also, im not disappointed with the new forme at all. it looks good to me.
however, im disappointed that they didnt give us anything else! shesh, theres trillions of bits of info to throw out, yet they dont give up anything.

remember how back before ruby, having a damn reflection when walking over water was newsworthy and people were happy to hear about it?

or that there was rain?

theres 3 dozen npc characters that will play some kind of role, show one or two of them.

i mean, i just dont get why thats not whats happening on, lets say a weekly basis.

Kind of reminds me of boo's transformations from Dragon Ball z.

I'm stuck on wondering why "Mewtwo?" has the tail in the back of it's head. It serves little to no use in nature unless it uses it as an extension like a sloth's tail. It's like in Lord of the Rings with the Balrog falling down a large cavern even though it has massive wings on it's back yet it can't fly.

Considering that the tail is bigger then his body, it would look like he dragging a lot of weight along if it wasn't moved.

Besides, he can still use it for blocking. It kind of compensates his short arms.

its not kid boo, its super boo. kid boo only has a tiny tail on his head.

also, the tail could work as a means to attack and means to increase aerodynamics and a place to hold mewtwos giant brain. you know, more brain, more psychic power.
the handle on his head could also imitate a spoon or satalite dish, allowing it to concentrate his powers even more.
since mewtwo is generally really powerful, the weight on his head isnt going to slow it down anyways.

also, there is nothing to suggest that this would be a fusion between mewtwo and mew.

It could be a Mewtwo clone or a prototype that escaped the Cinnabar Island lab.
