Hacking Possibility of playing online with legit backup?

Hi, I'm interested in hacking my Switch so I can play online with my legit copy of Blazblue: Cross Tag Battle. Is this possible? I like the game but I would prefer not having to insert the cart every time I want to play it.

It should be fine since it will have your unique game card certificate, but there's always a risk when using custom firmware.

As mentioned there is always a ban risk (at least currently since we don't know exactly what data is sent to Nintendo and what they are checking for) but using a backup with the matching certificate is the safest way short of OFW with a legit cartridge or eShop copy of the game.

So I have used mine with my legit backups of my own games that I have previously redeemed the gold points for with no issues currently. Doesn’t mean it’s not a ticking time bomb though...
