plugins.conf.v4.zip (size 2 kb)

* fixed gambatte (thx Abz)
* fixed wii64, not64, vba_next, funny (untested)

Tested !
wii64, not64, vba_next works !
gambatte works ( I think it's only GB and GBC emulator, so if you can remove it form GBA)

P.S.
I saw that mame is disappeared again
But anlyzing the plugins.conf I saw that the rom path for mame is changed in fb alpha roms mame
I prefer \mame\roms cause is default rompath for mame emulator
BTW if you changed it for some reason I will change my path too !

Good job to Stfour and Abz !

stfour, I've been testing out the emulator plugins and for the most part everything is working great. I have notice several issues with mplayer and JzintvWii.

JzintzWii - roms are detected but when I select a rom I get an error that states "requested plugin not found". I confirmed that the plugin worked with previous versions of plugins.conf

mplayer - My avi movies are detected but when I select a movie, postloader restarts and returns to the plugin menu. I confirmed that I can play the movies if I launch a version of mplayer through homebrew.

These are obviously minor issues but just wanted to pass along what I found. As always, thanks for the time that you put into this outstanding application.

JzintzWii plugin= line is wrong... should be plugin=1|1| JzintzWii|Jzintz|.....

I will fix the plugin.conf after fixing mplayer ;)

Hi stfour !
I tried your plugins v7, all works very good.
Just some notes that I found:
In sega emulator mode ( master system, megadrive, and sg 1000) the only emulator available is genplusgxmod7, what about mednafen?
Can you fix it !

Thanks

Hi Again.
I found the way to fix it.
Replace this lines
in plugins.conf v7
replace these lines:

plugin=1|1|Sega Genesis|genplusgx,wiimednafen-mod3|/genplus/roms/MD|gen,md,zip,bin|Sega_Genesis.png
plugin=1|1|Sega MasterSystem|genplusgx,wiimednafen-mod3|/genplus/roms/MS|sms,zip,bin|Sega_MasterSystem.png
plugin=1|1|SG 1000|genplusgx|/genplus/roms/SG|sg,zip,bin|Sega_SG-1000.png

with these:

plugin=1|1|Sega Genesis|genplusgx,wiimed|/genplus/roms/MD|gen,md,zip,bin|Sega_Genesis.png
plugin=1|1|Sega MasterSystem|genplusgx,wiimed|/genplus/roms/MS|sms,zip,bin|Sega_MasterSystem.png
plugin=1|1|SG 1000|genplusgx,wiimed|/genplus/roms/SG|sg,zip,bin|Sega_SG-1000.png

this could be v8 ;-)

Thanks again to stfour and abz for this great job !

WTH? lol, cant you just move them down a bit? You already got slot 201 to 251 for it (well theoratically, most homebrew allow 221 > 251)

    @SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

    A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

    anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

    if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

    Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

    @BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
    +1
  • cearp @ cearp:
    You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
    still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm

    i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds

    It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space

    @rqkaiju2, Physical media is a great source for archiving your data, none of that cloud storage shiz.
