WiiLink24 is a replacement online service for the Wii Channels released exclusively in Japan. This primarily includes Wii no Ma, renamed to Wii Room for an English release. It, along with Digicam Print Channel and Demae Channel, will not only revive these services once more, but will also bring them to America and Europe for the very first time. Also in the works is Wii Room Go, an English translation of Dokodemo Wii no Ma for the Nintendo DSi.

We're releasing our public beta for Wii no Ma this Saturday, December 5th. It's completely in English and a good chunk of the features once included are functioning!

Nope! In fact, if you have RC24, the weather will be displayed on the TV in the main room.

We're currently not sure what we're doing about Demae, but we have managed to get into the menu at this point
We'll see how it goes

In case anyone's wondering, the risk of bricking your Wii with Wii Room is close to, but not 0%, basically the same as installing RC24. However, even if you never made a NAND backup, you can use Priiloader to boot HBC and delete Wii Room from AnyTitleDeleter to fix your Wii.

Great to see this going places! When I first heard about it I wasn't sure but damn, this has really gone farther than I thought. Interesting to think that WNM (and the other to be supported Japan only services) was thought of as impossible to bring back but here we are now! Can't wait for the public beta launch tomorrow.

You can do it on any Wii.
