PS2 Classic Emulator Tales of Abyss Freezing

Hello, I created a pkg of Tales of the Abyss using the proper config file but the game always freezes at the same spot, specifically at the first ligar battle in Cheagle Woods. The compatibility list only mentions a freeze at Choral Castle and the config file is supposed to fix that. When I googled the problem, it appears to be a common issue with older versions of the PC PS2 emulator but nothing came up about the PS3. Has anyone run into this or know of a fix?

Try to reinstall the game. If it doesn't help. Use iso format instead of pkg. Load the game from multiman or webman.
