PS1/2 [PS2] Problems with image, random squares of alpha or noise

Hello, i was playing and something happened.
The game was making some squares of little squares of noise in the image.
I thoght it was the hdd game, later i restarted the system.

Then it was all again but wrose on the menu.

Well i tryed some other game. And some parts were "painted" with random squares with other textures or with nothing in it making those alpha squares with the background textures in it.

Well... anyone know how to solve it?

I think it could be the gpu is overheating, is there any way to fix it?

Make sure cable is firmly connected.

Other than that, it really looks like GPU is damaged, which is impossible to fix. Time to save up money for another PS2.

Try another cord, try another TV. But yeah, probably the GPU, though I doubt you need to save up for a PS2 these days. If you do need to save up to get that little, well, you probably have bigger problems so best of luck to you.
