I want to softmod one of my ps2's (both are different slim versions) neither can be used to run FreeMcBoot since fmcb doesnt support my ps2's. I mainly want to dump the bios of the ps2 games i currently without having to worry about viruses and unnecessary time wasted downloading them when i already have these at my disposal. Ultimately, i just want to know if there is any other option besides fmcb to use. Oh! one is a "SCPH-90001" NTSC and the other is a "SCPH-75001 NTSC. If fmcb supports these models let me know.

The second one definitely does: for the superslim (900xx), check out the chassis (https://i.imgur.com/FJq5X3p.jpg) - the vast majority of type R don't support loading updates from memory card, but the earlier ones do

You could always use a swap disc (commercial, like Swap Magic, Action Replay, etc; or homemade out of a modified backup of a compatible original game you own like 007 Agent Under Fire) - they are a valid way of installing FMCB but of course you can also use them to run any homebrew without installing anything
