So, I finally exploited my PS4 yesterday and put GoldenHen on it. I installed one game and played it a bit just to test it out before putting it into rest mode. Everything was working fine.

Next time I went to use it, I couldn't wake it up out of rest mode with the remote. I had to force a shutdown and restart with the power button and it loaded up and did the system file check and everything.

After hard resetting, the PS4 is insanely slow. Almost unusably sluggish. After it boots up and I select my user, it takes probably a good 5 minutes before anything shows up on the dashboard. During that period, you can't open settings or anything. It's basically frozen for 5 minutes. Then you can use it a tiny bit before it goes into like another 5 minutes of being nearly frozen. It doesn't seem like it ever really gets fully up to speed. I can't play the game that I previously installed and played briefly.

I've tried rebooting it 3 or 4 times and it's the same thing every time. Roughly speaking, it's nearly bricked. Any ideas?

that's a kernel panic, what happened. it's sluggish when you have it scan the internal/external hdds, so it's best to restart. since you've already done that, something may be wrong with the hdd. maybe first try reinstalling the firmware. also, you can't boot the game, because the ps4 exploits are not coldboot, so they have to be redone at every boot, minus rest mode. it's recommended not to go into rest mode while in game. that's something @Leeful recommends.
