Hardware PSP 1000 Housing and Headphone Jack Replacement

Hey guys, I have a PSP 1000b2 that had it's keychain string holder broken, and I found a PSP 1000 (that isn't B2) that doesnt even work. I just want to replace it's housing with the one from that other nonworking PSP. Question is, are they compatible with each other? I also want to replace it's headphone jack because when I put in the jack bad sounds happening to my headset.
