I recently modded my PSP and put a few games on it, I am using a microSD with an adapter which I am assuming may be the problem, but I'd like to go through everything first. I have a PSP 2001 running 6.60 pro c2. I added about 8 games that all work perfectly, then I added a lot more new games, booted everything up, and they all show as corrupted data. The original games I put on still show up and play though! I can not understand why some work and some don't!

I tried some sort of "fix" I found for pro c2 but it didnt help. I tried getting rid of a lot of games and trying just individual corrupted data games to see if it was a memory issue but they still show up as corrupted where the first few games still show up as working. I don't know what to do!

What is your micro SD card?
Well one is a fake I think, I took a chance for a low price knowing it could be bad, but the other one is one ive used for a long time and is a SanDisk. Could it possibly be a bad adapter? Im starting to think its not a memory card issue.

It could be the SD card. If you got it for very cheap, it might be a fake.

The adapter should be fine. I've bought one for a friend, and he never had any problem with it.

Well I figured the cheap one is fake and figured another SD card would do the trick, but my legit one that ive had for some years is giving the same problem. No matter what I configure or what CFW I install.

Maybe the ISO files are bad? Try to get the same games somewhere else, we never know.

This could be a stupid idea, but did you try another CFW? Like ME?
also what were the formats? ISO? CSO?

Just a question. If you could run the emulator PPSSPP on your pc, do the games work? That's a stupid question again, but if they work in the emulator, there's definitely something wrong with the sd card/ memory stick adapter/ psp?

Not stupid at all! Let me see, it may take me a second to get that going

Ok so it has to be the games, maybe my crap SD card corrupted the files or something but the games that are corrupted on my PSP are still corrupted on the emulator!

That means, the iso files are bad. I'd suggest you to keep on looking until a game is functionnal :)

Thanks so much! So what im noticing now thanks to running the emulator is that my original downloads of the game before I copied them onto the SD card work with the emulator where as the game files that went onto the SD card and then got backedup are all corrupted. So now im moving one of the original downloads to my legit SD card and seeing if it works because this file of the game works on the emulator :)

Uh, that's interesting now.

So the downloads are working fine? Maybe the SD card is the problem then. I never see a file corruption happening randomly by a file copy.

Well its definitely odd, the downloads that are still saved on my computer work fine, but not the ones that I had put on the SD card then backed up. I dont know if it was the act of copying where something went wrong. Im thinking that the SD killed itself when I put so many games on it because it was a fake and it just corrupted the games when I tried to load them.

But other than that the games that were working on the emulator are working just fine when put back onto my legit SD card, so its all good now!

I've been getting the same issues as her, get a few corrupt ISO's and some work. After a while of uploading they just all become corrupt, I've even tried taking a already working iso, copy it to my PC then copy it back and it's corrupt. When I reformat my card it'll work for a few days before not accepting any new ISO's where the old ones will continue to work, very baffling situation and haven't been able to find a solution myself even after trying multiple SD cards.
