Hardware PSP not recognized by computer.

I try to plug mah PSP into my computer and then go to "USB Connectivity" and it then my computer just says "USB device not recognized." and the PSP sits at "PLEASE WAIT..." forever.

probably this. either that or your usb port (or the usb thing on the psp) is busted

I guess the front USB connectors on my computer just done like me, works fine in the back. Though it says "PLEASE INSERT DISC INTO DRIVE "E"" and shows no folders or anything.

If you have CFW running on it you may have set up the USB access mode to something else besides the Memory Stick. Probably to the UMD drive.
