So, say for example I have one Old 3DS firmware 9.4, and another Old 3ds but this time firmware 8.1. If I did a system transfer of all my data from the 9.4 3DS to the 8.1 3DS would the firmware of the 8.1 3DS be changed to 9.4, or even worse be updated to the latest firmware? Or would it just stay the same?
If you transfer to a 9.0-9.5 emuNAND using eShop spoof on both it will work fine.
It will fail if you try to answer to other versions though, because the eShop spoof doesn't enable that.
