Gaming Question regarding force PAL gamecube games to 480p

Hey!

I've been looking around for afew days now for alternatives to play my pal collection of gamecube games in 480p and come across only one option, a gamecube with a qoop pro chip, with this compability:

So my question is, are there alternatives to this; Like running my games on a softmodded wii and forcing them to 480p there or does the wii only support 480p for NTSC?
I'm against piracy and wont therefor not download ntsc versions of my games, nor sell them and get ntsc versions since i wanna keep all my PAL saves..

Still...I don't think there is a softmod solution for this issue. The wii natively supports games that have progressive mode (not all of them are NTSC; check this list), but the ones that don't have it...I don't know.
