Hardware Questions about G6 Lite

Hey guys!

I just finally bought my first handheld gaming system since the original gameboy. I picked up the DS lite last night, and was wanted to ask a few questions about the G6 Lite.

To use the G6 lite, do I need to purchase anything else? I was reading a sticky about the G6 lite and it said something about a PassMe/Nopass thing. What is this? Do i actually need this? Or can I just purchase the G6 lite and then wham, I'm ready to go and upload some roms?

You don't need to have a Passme/Nopass device to play GBA ROMs.

However, to play NDS ROMs and NDS homebrew programs, you have to have a Passme device.

Ok so if I understand this properly. I have NDS lite, and in order to use the G6 Lite, I will have to purchase this Passme thing? Where does this plug-in? Can you guys recommend any and where to buy them?

Does that passcard just go into the NDS game slot?

While the G6 Lite goes into the GBA slot?

Oops, forgot to answer that one.
The G6 goes in the GBA slot, the Passcard goes in the NDS slot.

So the Passcard kind of overrides the boot-up software on the DS lite
