Hacking R4/M3 Simply - Durability question

After both me and my friend have recieved defective DS-X's (both with COMPLETELY different problems) we decided it would be best to return them and get something else

I found the DS-X was very cheaply made, and the case felt like it would break apart - in fact one of the little clips on the side fell off the first time I put it in my DS.

can anyone tell me what they think of the R4, and M3 Simply - since they're pretty much the same thing the deciding factor for me would probably be case design.

Also, im wondering how compatible they are with things (while using a good micro SD), as I havent yet found a list

I have read the review, and it seems very durable, but i would like some input from users as well
