I had a couple of the 5th gen pokemon in mind but not really sure on how to use them so i have yet to use them in competitive battle. but here they are if some one could help

Hey mate. Firstly After reading the last few lines
Competitive battle 2011 is ONLY Generation 5 pokemon
However that team looks like it would do fine in gen4 however you need to swap one or two of the starters
Jaloorda with Perversity is better than sceptile ALOT Better with this moveset:
Giga drain
Leafstorm
HP Fire
Protect
Due to perversity leaf storm is no longer bad it is beneficial giving +2 sp.atk every use! thats 600 extra s[.atk on its already decent stat. i've tested it and it gets to 900 SPatk easily!
Need any more advice pm me

As far as I know, 4th Gen and 3rd Gen are still being used.

Competitive battle doesn't limit you to only 5th Gen.

Also are you EV Training these Pokemon? Have you already EV Trained these Pokemon?

That's stupid. Teach it Thunder Wave instead Nasty Plot, give it Serene Grace for an ability, and give it a Kings Rock to hold. You'll have a perfect Flinch-Kiss combo.

Ok. and im not too good at ev training. ive just been taking my time and breed multiples of all of them and then choose whichever one has the best stats to me, then I add in what ever attacks according what kind of each through pokesav.

and dont mind my mess up on sceptile. i meant to say dragon pulse.

I guess your team is perfectly fine then. You could take what 8bitluigi said for your Togekiss but honestly I don't see a problem with your team.

Just don't think your going to dominate everyone Else's Pokemon on WiFi because usually no matter what Ev Trained Pokemon will usually end on top.

The VGC's for official tournament battling has been announced as 5th generation only.
Unless your just wifi fun battling or with freidns you cannot use 4th gen or below :/ sucks I know
