I'd like to see some screen-capture of how the GUI is with the Importer. I know it's not the game itself, but I'm curious as to how it'll work for transferring to the SD

. I'm pretty excited about what it can do.

We all know RAWK can play the Customs in-game, but how bout some of the fun external part, yes? ;D!

EDIT (instead of doing two posts): I was wondering if real DLC has a special sentence for the loading screen. And if they have that, can we add this to a customs? Probably no one cares but that would be funny. lol

You mean the text it shows while loading the song? That's based on the artist, if the game recognizes the name of the artist in your custom song it may show some text about them. Most of the time it's just random though.

Make a video showing, in one session:

Downloading and playing a normal DLC you dont' have on the system yet (don't have to play the whole thing).

Installing/importing and then playing song that's not on the system yet.

No they're stored on the disc. But there's a lot of them, including bands that don't even currently have songs in the game.
There's also weird error messages like this:

I hate that error. It's done that with at least some of my legit DLC.

And on the topic of game ISOs... I highly recommend that everyone have dumps of their RB1, GH3, and GHA discs ready (with SuperDump if you don't have ISOs of them; or extract them from WBFS) in anticipation of our release

I assume the RB Track Packs will work too?

Will I be able to make an iso with custom songs?
In the faq it says that the camera is static, because the data is missing, I guess. In the video of Timmy, it works though. Is this because it was imported from RB1 including the data for the camera?
Is the scoring of RB1 the same as in RB2?

This isn't right. This will allow adding custom songs as dlc. It will not allow you to make iso's with custom songs.

Indeed. This will install the customs or the imports as DLC. In the video it was indeed a song from RB1 with all the data it needs to animate the video. I don't know a damn thing about the difference on scores.

Correct again, Timmy was from RB1, which already had animations set up in the chart file.
However, the FAQ is a bit out of date. If you give RawkSD a chart that doesn't have any animations, it will choose some for you. Like in my video...

I was bored and no one else was around, so I decided to try my hand at charting a song. The video shows the chart, as well as what RawkSD can do in general

(The animations, lighting, and camera stuff was all added when I installed the chart with RawkSD)
