I own the US version, it never asked for an online pass. Im guessing i would need to have this JP version tied to a jp account for it to allow me to download the pass it tried before then.

Ah you said you owned the original so I assume it was the jp. The us online pass iirc was bundled along with the patch. I tried that and you know what, it actually asked me to buy the game. I think around 900yen. I think I'll have to ask the guy who dumped the game.

Yeah, just mentioned that cause people are usually " go buy the game if you want x & y"

I dont mind getting the jp game later to use the pass, just wanted to try if the online was global, or regional for the jp copy.

Hello, May I know how to install US dlc to freedom wars japanesse version game?
I tried to modifiy param in sce_sys folder and also rename the folder (change the U->J)
Can you help me how to get it work?

Just maidumptool? No Nonpdrm method at all? Nobody uses Maidump now.

What are you talking about? We can use maidump mods/English patches on nonpdrm with repatch

this voice thing is not that good most is japanese so if you hve orginal and want to play online use your own one like eu your own region jp has to buy a online pass that is dead

First of all, there is no "patch_v0120" inside ux0:app/PCSC00054 folder.
"patch_v0120" is in ux0/patch/PCSC00054/patch_v0120/
and copying the translated files in that folder will not start the game.

I put the "patch_v0120" folder with the translated files inside ux0:app/PCSC00054/
but now ux0/patch/PCSC00054/patch_v0120/ is missing those 3 files that i deleted,

• patch_v0120_cmn.eaf
• patch_v0120_jpn.eaf
• patch_v0120_rgn_japan.eaf

because of that, the game doesn't boot at all.
Since the op post is so old, probably the vita file structure is different from now. I'm using whatever the latest henkaku enso as of date.

you need repatch 2.71 or sonicmastr500's repatch for you to use maidump mod patches on nonpdrm. At the same time there is a certain layout to it
