Before I venture down some sort of rabbit hole, I wanted to see if something like this is even possible. I'm trying to randomize Pokemon UM using PK3ds and, at a very basic level, it amounts to changing the right files within the game I am assuming if you knew where the files were, you could change them with a hex editor manually
I'm wondering, if it would be possible to create a program for the 3ds which will target those files and randomize them within a certain range. As long as you have CFW, the write access to change those files shouldn't be a problem, right?
Once the program has been written into a .cia, it should be able to be installed like any other and randomize the game from there.
Basically what PKSM is to PKHex, this would be to PK3ds.
Is this something that hasn't been done because no one really cares or because it's impossible?
