It's the logical progression really. Get with the times.

When I saw the title, I wanted to say that we can't have RGB fridge before we have a fridge with a transparent casing (gadda follow ALL the trends), but this one has both so I'm fine with it.

It's not a big deal, but I've been working a RGB project with an Arduino and temp sensor. It displays the current temp on a huge double digit display I've made with cut individual white led strips, Sh*tload of wires, and 3D printer, The back and/or sides I plan on having RGB led strips that will turn dif color depending on the current temp (ex: Red < 80*F, Blue >70*F, Green 70-80*F), inside some type of disfused ring around the double digits. I may make a color pattern that will play, then display the temp color for few secs, or blend in more colors, not sure yet, that's all in messing with the Arduino code. I plan on hanging on the wall like a clock, to use as a night light and a thermometer. Me n my silly projects. :wacko: Here's the large LED digits I made, and my plan anyways...
