Will SaltFW be updated to support CTRNAND (like Luma3DS)? This CFW seems just so ideal to keep in CTRNAND

One of the features, is "Install and Forget", but if we get a new SD card, we have to remember again. That's not staying true to the feature, if we installed it on the CTR NAND, then we can truly "Install and Forget".

I may change the direction of ShadowNAND as in, get rid of the CFW bit, implement (see: steal) CTRNAND booting, and then just update SaltFW to the latest Luma base.

There is a difference here. ShadowNAND lacks basic features like reboot patches. What they are talking about is actually running Luma3DS from CTRNAND

I need to make a correction to this post. Booting Luma from the CTRNAND does not include the reboot patches. I read somewhere that it did and they were wrong. Thus I was spreading incorrect information.

I thought the latest build of Luma fixed that issue.
Edit: Just tried it, seems to be working fine, it just takes a bit longer to load the game.

Latest nightly or stable?

So I made a thread on this but seeing as it got sunk with no replies I'll post it here (which I should have done from the start). I know of one other person with this same issue so hopefully it will help us both.
@craftsygaming
So I intend to send my brother a 2ds that has already been soft modded with A9LH and Luma. Seeing as he lives about 1k miles from me I want to idiot proof it (bad wording but you get the idea). I downloaded the SaltFW 3.1 LTS a9lh bin and dropped it on the sd card but when I try to boot the blue power light comes on and thats it. No screens no boot nada. Not new to this so I am a bit confused as to wth I am missing. Current setup:
Nintendo 2DS
A9LH/Luma updated to 11.2
Recent changes as of this week: Updated A9LH, set up sd-less boot (still booting with sd card), Luma updated to 6.5.
When I tried to use SaltFW bin I moved the Luma bin off the sd completely. First time I tried to boot that's all I did. Second time I tried to boot I also moved the Luma folder on the off chance it was causing issue. System boots perfectly with Luma bin and I tried re-downloading SaltFW bin to no avail. Any insight is greatly appreciated. Thanks. And btw when I say saltfw bin I am referring to the arm9loaderhax.bin that was in the release zip and not the SaltFW.bin. My understanding was remove the luma arm9loaderhax.bin and simply replace it with saltfw arm9loaderhax.bin and it would simply work but that doesn't happen for me. Not sure if it is because I updated to latest A9LH or?
