Stable is just a name for a git snapshot in time. There’s nothing more stable in the 2.1.0 release compared to latest nightly in Switch/Vita, apart from the fact that unstable engines are missing.

Of course it is up to you but if you use nightly you can even use cloud saves on Switch.

Oh nice. I tried a snapshot 5 days ago or so and gave me a warning about stability whereas the "stable" not. So I thought that the stable was more... stable.

Is there any way to update to this on the Switch itself? Can’t see anything in HBStore. Would be nice not to have to shut down Switch and put SD in PC.

Edit: Actually it is on HB Store but 2.1.0

Probably not directly, but most people use ftp to copy files over to the Switch. sys-ftpd-light seems to be the weapon of choice lately.

Can I please get a clear instruction on the proper folder locations to store games for ScummVM on Switch? Suggestions in this thread are all over the place and unsure of themselves and there is NOTHING telling you do on the official wiki page for the Switch port, (a major oversight perhaps?)

(The two games I'm trying to run right now are the Dig (CD version) and Zack McKracken (FM Towns version) )

Edit: got them working.

Put folder for game you are adding in /switch/scummvm/games/

How do you connect a cloud provider "Googledrive" in 2.8.1?
Using the auto mode fails cause it says can't open URL. using manual mode may work but I can't find a way to paste all the JSON code from another device into the box. Im not going to type it all out.
Any suggestions?
I tried installing Browser home-brew for a web browser but it won't open any pages complaining about security certs, again its runs in a separate container so not sure how to connect the cloud provider "Googledrive" to the ScummVM instance.
I think in previous versions, the manual mode was just typing in a code which was more simple than this.

@The Real Jdbye, I thought about that and I have blank DVD's and Blurays but honestly after like 90 songs I just listen to it a couple of hundred times toss it out and burn something else or have like 2-3 CD's. Florida here the heat in the car tends to ruin the CD's after like a few months even commercial pressed ones don't last too long.
