Hardware SD Init failures, Not Reader problem.

i initally last week when this cropped up, tried replacing the SD Card when it didnt i ordered a replacement reader thru iFixit, which came in today, STILL init failures/card init in 1bit mode, i dont know what i've done that's killed it. any ideas what else is wrong? (OG switch. fw 10.2.0, Hekate 5.3.4)
