Step by step what I did

Installed hencore and vitashell on vita

On pc
Ran win32 disk imager and wrote the zzblank.img to the SD
Removed and reinserted SD, formatted to exfat and set allocation Unit Size to Default Allocation Size. Formatted.

Opened vitashell and ftp'd all of ux0 to the SD. Ftp'd gamesd.skprx to ur0:tai.

Added 'ur0:tai/gamesd.skprx' under *kernel in ur0:tai/config. Deleted ux0:tai/config

Put SD in adapter into vita, hit start on vitashell then reboot.

Ran hencore again and had 64gigs.

But do you have your official memory card mounted also?

I did. After ftping to my pc, just put the ux0 folder in the root of the sd2vita?
You have to put the contents of the ux0 folder in the root of your sd card. it has to look like this in the root of your sd card

This is very simple.

Write zzblank.img to sdcard.
Format micro SD as exfat.
Delete ux0:tai folder.
Plug Vita to pc and SD card too.
Make sure windows setting shows hidden files.
Copy full Vita ux0 contents to micro sdcard root.
Copy games.skprx to ur0:tai.
Edit ur0:tai/config.txt with Vita shell and add the line below #KERNEL "ur0:tai/games.skprx" without quotation marks.

Stick SD card in adapter and boot Vita with it in. Run h-encore. Check free space with Vita shell it will be the SD card.

DO NOT ADD THE LINE TO THE TAI CONFIG USING NOTEPAD AS IT WILL NOT WORK. USE VITA SHELL ACTUALLY ON THE VITA.

Just realised I mostly said what has already been said. Oops.
