Gaming Shovel Knight - game starts out unlocked/maxed?

Not sure what is going on, but whenever I try and start a new game I am starting out with everything unlocked and maxed out.

No cheats or feats are enabled. The selection screen even shows 4 life bars, no money, etc. Enter game though, fully buffed.

Deleted game, reinstalled, same thing.

Do you have cheats downloaded in edizon or something? Check your atmosphere/titles folder or equivalent.

If @hippy dave is right about you having cheats installed and they're loading automatically, you may need to edit your system_settings.ini to prevent cheats from being enabled by default.

Looks like that could be the case - odd, since I never use that program. I figured if cheats were enabled it would have shown in the program itself. Thank you.
