It actually is possible on pc if you're using RPCS3 and have a Playstation 3 rom of a Skylanders game you can emulate a Skylanders portal by going to Manage in the emulator and clicking "Skylander Portal" and click create next to Skylander 1 choose a Skylanders from the drop-down menu, and click create save the file somewhere and now you can repeat the process for other Skylanders and click load and select created files to emulate Skylanders! The only downside RPCS3 has is that the new games don't work that smoothly and the sensei's from Imaginators don't work. You will need PS3 firmware which you can download on the official PlayStation site by searching Playstation 3 firmware on google and a Skylander rom for PS3 you can dump if you have a modded Playstation 3 or you can pirate it from the internet.

A tutorial video (With an in-depth installation process of the tutorial above, gameplay and a guide on how to use the Skylander emulator):

(I made a separate thread for this now: https://gbatemp.net/threads/play-skylanders-on-pc-without-the-portal.589312/ with a better-written tutorial)

If you have a pc compatible portal (The Wii/Wii u or PlayStation work, but not Xbox) I would recommend using Cemu because it works much better performance-wise but you will need the actual Skylanders, I'll place a tutorial here (Caution if you flash the drivers for the portal and the USB disconnects you could brick the portal. And the portal will not work on it's intended platform anymore if you flash the drivers):

(The video is 26 minutes but that's just because I played the whole first level the actual tutorial is just 7 minutes)

  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
@The Real Jdbye, I thought about that and I have blank DVD's and Blurays but honestly after like 90 songs I just listen to it a couple of hundred times toss it out and burn something else or have like 2-3 CD's. Florida here the heat in the car tends to ruin the CD's after like a few months even commercial pressed ones don't last too long.
