Hacking So, honestly, without any fanboys of higher or lower firmware, is there any reason to stay 4.10?

Do what I did, update to 5.1.0 using the method available in the forums that doesn't burn fuses, keeping yourself at the 4.x.x fuse level. Then when the software entrypoint comes out and hopefully at that point there's emunand as well, you can downgrade your switch again on the sysnand, run a 5.1.0 emunand, and be gravy

AutoRCM isn't that scary. Its easily reversible and the "dead battery" thing that was circling around is false. More of a pain in the ass if you don't have a easy way of running a payload on the go lol.

You would have had to of updated your switch to 5.1.0 without burning any fuses and then you could restore your own NAND backup of 4.1.0.
I assume you mean rajkosto's guide? That's really the only way that I'm aware of, its a pain but it works.
Me for instance, I was on 3.0 and updated to 5.1.0 without blowing the fuses so now I can downgrade back down to 3.0 whenever I want. A pain to do but it works.

Hmm, okay, that's what I thought.

Has there been a dev confirming Atmosphere or even Hekate will be ported to use this, or is it just speculation that this will be usable for more than just entering RCM without a jig?
There are a total of 3 ways to enter RCM. One is to corrupt the BCT which AutoRCM accomplishes. The second involves shorting pin 10 while pressing power and vol + which is accomplished via jigs. The third way is by removing the eMMC. Also, it has been confirmed that Deja Vu works via a TrustZone exploit meaning it will allow arbitrary code to be ran without a payload being sent via USB cable. The most likely conclusion is that the CFW/hacks will be located on the SD card.

I'm designing my own entertainment cabinet for my man cave, to store all my systems, then I'm also designing a power supply/HDMI switcher so I can switch to whichever system I want, and power it also. Already picked up the cabinet board, but tinkering with my drawings before start

But yea, I have frogger arcade cabinet that I gutted and put a Pi4 then Pi5 into, but it never gets played much anymore, should sell it. Even when the kids come over, they don't want to play on it, just the xbox. TMNT and Simpson's arcade is still so fun on it, esp w 2 players.
