So I'm waiting for the new Team Xecuter stuff to come out :grog:But I have some questions while I prepare for it to be released:

  1. I got my 360 'e' (Corona v6 4GB) during black friday. Is this one of the funky ones I've heard about that needs a special fix from TX in the future? How can I check?
  2. I'm only interested in RGH, not interested in online: Will regular ISO's work from external loading? Is there a way to scrub dummy data off of them so they are smaller, or convert them into an installer of some sort, or do I have to look for specific releases for backups I want? HDD space kind of is important.
  3. I know that there is a 'leaked' update to backwards compatibility that blows it open. How comprehensive is it? Does it add a bunch of new games? Is there any list out there for it? Deciding whether to bother putting a Sata drive in my old Xbox classic or not. What should I expect?
  4. Is there any RGH solution for using a different controller? Is it possible to use a DS3, PS4 controller, or even an Xbone controller on an RGH console without buying a converter? If not, whats the best converter I should look into?
  5. Are the cheapo Chinese nand dumper kits about as reliable as the expensive TX ones? Where do I get a decent one that's inexpensive?
  6. How much better at the speeds of running internal compared to running an external USB drive? 2TB Lappy drives are kind of expensive is all.

Thanks all!

You'll need a POST fix adapter and a SD dumper.
4GB ones have an eMMC instead of a regular NAND.

No, you'll have to either extract them with Xbox image browser or convert them to GOD with ISO2GOD.
Also, grab a 1 or 2TB 2.5 inch drive.
Forget about external HDD's, the 360 is hardware hacked and SATA is way quicker then USB.
Plus it also looks neater imho.

There's no "leaked" one, there's a hacked version of the Xbox emulator, it adds compatibility for a couple more games.
It still is emulation so dun expect the best.
There's no list afaik..

Nope, you can get a Cronus Max, but honestly, the 360 controller is a work of art.

There's some but I personally prefer TX material.
You could look around on Ebay if you'd like.
You'll have to get an SD dumper (somewhere in those terms)

You're looking at SATA vs USB.
It'll be quicker and it'll look neater as well.

Thanks femboi

So can regular ISOs be scrubbed when they're converted to GOD?

I like the 360 controller too cept for the Dpad...

Is there a reliable place to get a POST fix adapter and SD dumper, whatever they are. Can I make my own SD dumper?

Thanks again

No prob~

Yep.
However I personally prefer game extracts (xex files)
They take up the least amount of space and are easier to modify (as well as delete unneeded languages etc)

Dpad indeed isn't the best, but the controller itself is a masterpiece.
Cronus max can convert other controllers to the 360 tho.

http://www.xconsoles.com/ is one of em.
I'd personally just get a brand new one ;p
Or you could let a modshop do it for you.

Soldering isn't extremely hard but it is tricky.
