Homebrew Something Happened to my 2dsXL, please advise.

Did you do the 2nd option where you remove the SD card AND the battery, leaving the 2DS alone for 5 minutes, and then booting up it up without SD card?

I have an idea - are you certain the sleep mode switch is OFF when you turn it on? And the flashcart is OUT? It should just fail to turn on if the sleep mode switch is on but worth asking?

I don't have access to a screwdriver small enough for the 2dsXL screws.

QuantumCat, The 2dsXL doesn't have a sleep switch. Flashcart is out, Solid blue light after doing the blinking thing 3 times in a row. Black Screens.

Best case scenario is that you semi-soft bricked with the N2DSXL stuck on something like a boot-loop on that Tomodachi Life game you played last. The battery removal and letting it self discharge is suppose to try to reset any memory of that.

Ah ok, people kept saying 2DS. Report back when you've tried removing the battery, seems like the best lead so far

I can tell you atleast it isn't a hardware issue. That was definitely an SD card error light.
