Sonic CD is one of the best Sonics imo, im tempted by this but already have it a few times,
and it will prob be a half arsed emulated vers, and without the original music.
Prob better to emulate it yourself on a PC using Kega Fusion.

I agree with you on the emulation part - but as far as I know, it will feature the original japanese soundtrack (which really is awesome).
They didn't re-master anything - so it's pretty much the original game.
Just wonder what took them so goddamn long to re-release a (hopefully...) proper version of the game.
And if SEGA messes it up (again) - I still have the original game.

I suggest you read the opening post, Sonic CD has been remade with a new engine. I bought it today and it's actually good, it's actually in widescreen!

I was skim reading before, well thats cool, i've heard of the retro engine/frequent sonic retro.
I deff have ALOT more faith in this now

I got it on the iPod today and it's really awesome
Way better than Sonic/Sonic 2 on the iPod/iPhone...
There are some nice customization options (e.g. instant spin dash).
And you can actually choose between the jap and na soundtrack

Will be getting this on my iPod. With GTA III and Bard's Tale it looks like I'll have plenty to play on it.

I beat the game today and it was a brilliant fun. It's worth the price and though the game is less than an hour long, it's going to be a good hour.

it has good replay-ability too, but I cant seem to find it on steam.

Got this last night for my Android and it's pretty nice, never got to play the Sega CD version.
Might get it on my 360 when it's game of the week.

Also got GTA3 but it crashes after the intro
