Can anyone contact M3 team? I would like to know how long do have to wait for the official fix.I haven't contacted them - But according to their Forum post (posted 5th Dec)QUOTEInstead of answering multiple threads about this game. Here is a sticky for it.

We are aware of this issue and we are currently looking into it.

Meanwhile you may try using the patch and a custom sav file to get the game working.

Patch:http://www.mediafire.com/?ig2wytak2ag
Save File:http://www.mediafire.com/?tm2atmyjzxh

Threads being made about this game regarding the same issue may not be answered.
Thank you for your support and patience.
So it seems they are working on it - but how long it'll be is anyones guess

Actually I don't know if it is official forum
- but when you go to download the latest files from M3 website & follow the links from M3Adapter.com Downloads > DSGoGoGo > Handheld there's the button on download page

The fix works perfectly for me.

Only problem I have (I may just be stuck in the game, I don't know if it's actually a problem with the patch) is in the first temple (small spoilers) I get in there and there's nothing I can do and I've gone to all the other towns and there's no item or anything to get that will let me advance.

So I'm wondering maybe the game is fail to have enemies pop up?

EDIT: Nevermind I figured it out xD

It worked for about 20 minutes then started freezing again

Actually I discovered that using the patched ds game file(the one with the Xenophobia screen and NOT patching it), and copying over the hacked save(making sure to use the same name before the extension) works perfect with M3i using Sakura 1.44. I did this and everything works great, I just finished the second temple last night and will move on to the next this evening.

F.Y.I: This is truly a magnificent game, it blends so many different elements together(including some that have previously been unused) seamlessly with great(although slightly simple) puzzles. A real pleasure to play!!

To try & clear things up - The 'Original game' is a clean dump & doesn't have the Xeno screen while the 'Patched game' does have the Xeno splash screen (since Xeno was the one to crack the train control problem & he'd like to show off with a splash screen).

> The Patch/Crack from Xeno is required to get the Train controls showing, so you can drive it
> The Hacked Save is required to allow you to save in-game, otherwise when you switch off - you lose your position in the game

So how have you got an original game with the Xeno screen if it has not already been patched ??

EXCUSE me, I am at work and just typing on the side quickly here, I edit my statement to mean the patched xenophobia rom. So what I am trying to say is, if you already have the rom with xenophobia splash you DO NOT need to use the patcher!! Happy now??

Have you tried this post instead

EDITED: I've been searching through it & found these posts that may help
Post #420 give a possible solution while Post #459 offer a save file that you can use - just remember to 'patch' the game as well otherwise you may find you can't control the train

Okay i followed the instructions and after using the .bat it says

"xdelta.exe: open xpa-lzst.nds failed: No such file or directory"

Then it makes a file called xpa-lzst-cracked with 0 kb

Help!

Did you put the 'clean rom' into the same folder & rename it to 'xpa-lzst.nds' ??
You need it to be able to crack it - & it seems that the program can't find it (you didn't misspell it by any chance)

yeah i copy and pasted the file name straight from the instructions.
So just to check
- You've downloaded the spirit track fix from the first post & extracted it
- You ended up with a folder called 'xpa-zstc' (with 4 files in it), a 'ReadMe.txt' and a 'lzst.sav' file
- In the 'xpa-zstc' folder you have 4 files called 'xdelta.exe','xpa-lzst.crack','xpa-zstc.bat' and 'xpa-zstc.nfo'
- you've downloaded a Clean ROM from somewhere & copied the 'nds' file in it into the 'xpa-zstc' folder
- You've renamed the nds file (whatever it happens to be called) to 'xpa-lzst.nds'
- You ran the 'xpa-zstc.bat' file

And it's at this point you're getting the error
"xdelta.exe: open xpa-lzst.nds failed: No such file or directory"

That is very weird - the only thing I can think off is - have you got file extensions 'hidden' and what you've done is in fact called the ROM 'xpa-lzst.nds.nds' ??

What OS are you using ??

If it's XP then:-
Right-Click 'My Computer'
Select 'Explore'
Click on 'Tools' on the menu bar
Click on 'Folder Options'
Click on 'View' tab
remove 'tick' against 'hide Extensions for known file types'
Click [OK] & now file extension should be shown
