I've been a hardcore Attack on Titan enjoyer for over 7 years. The story up until the ending was really good. But chapter 139 just felt rushed to me. Ymir being "freed" by Eren meant absolutely nothing. Nothing really changes in the end of the story besides Titans no longer existing, but Eldia is in a far worse state now that they don't have Titans to defend themselves.
I think a lot of us were holding out for a better ending. The Lelouch route was a very bad ending. "I will keep moving forward until 80% of my enemies are destroyed"
